As of Wednesday, July 16, we have distributed flyers to roughly 70% of the homes in the neighborhood.  We will visit the remaining ~150 homes over the next couple of days.  During this time, we hope to be able to visit with many of our neighbors regarding their wishes for the NEW Highland View Park.

 

The next event on the schedule for this project is a walk-through of the existing park with members of the KC Parks & Recreation (KCPR) department, including the Project Manager and design engineer.  This will take place late next week, and will serve as a first look at the true possibilities of the upgrade.  The plan is to compile the feedback received via the website so that it can be shared with the KCPR team during the walk-through.
