Highland View Park is our local park, and it is the reason for this project. The pictures you see below are of HIghland View Park in its current state. As this is the only developed area of the park, it is the only area I for which I am including pictures at this time.

Romey Hills Park
Romey Hills Park is located just west of N. Oak on 101st Place (map). This park was recommended by the folks at Parks & Rec as a possible model from which plans for an updated Highland View Park could be based. The pictures below are of the playground area only, but I should also point out that there is a paved walking path that wanders through the wooded area of the park. Again, something similar could be done in our park.

Essex Park
Essex Park is located just east of N. Indiana and north of Barry Road (map). This is another park that was mentioned as a possible comparison park when considering upgrades to the play area of Highland View Park. There is no walking trail / path at this park.
